A.G. Welding can create custom metal work according to your design and specifications. We can fabricate from a hand drawn sketch, from a photograph, or from professionally prepared blueprints and shop drawings.
Some examples of the residential custom metal work project types we have worked on include decorative iron bed frames, various table supports for glass, granite and wood tabletops, decorative mailboxes, and basketball rims and posts to support backboards.
We also fabricate and install security grilles (also commonly referred to as burglar bars) for windows and doors. These grilles can vary from a simple design or very decorative and ornate. You can create or select your own design, or we can assist you in creating a custom design.

What kinds of metals are you able to use for fabrication?
We can create your metal component out of any of a variety of commonly used metals. From iron to stainless steel, aluminum, and bronze, the type of metal we’ll recommend will depend on what is best suited to the project. The finish on the project can be a primer and paint topcoat, powder coated or galvanized.

What is the difference between cast iron and forged iron?
Cast iron is iron that is heated to very high temperatures until it melts and then it is poured into a mold. Forged iron is heated until it becomes pliable and then it is bent into scrolls or other shapes. Aluminum is also frequently cast into various shapes and decorative panels.
